Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our veterinary team at Golf Links Animal Clinic will accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular situation.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We are available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening where possible. It is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency and check on appointment availability.

Emergencies that require immediate, critical care at an emergency hospital can be things such as trouble breathing, poisoning, hit by a car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call immediately, so we may advise you what is the best course of action for your pet's well-being. As we are not equipped for ongoing, overnight hospitalization, please feel free to call an emergency hospital. We recommend Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (520-888-3177) and Pima Pet Clinic-Animal Emergency Services (520-327-5624).

Read What Our Clients Say

  • "I was having so many problems with my little poodle dog. She was vomiting all the time and having loose stools. I changed her food multiple times, but nothing worked. I took her to Dr. Ortiz and it took her no time to figure out that she had a sensitive digestion problem. She put her on a special diet and I have had no problems since, thanks to Dr. Ortiz! I highly recommend her for your pet."
